As a Front End Developer, I have a natural interest in UI design and creating visually pleasing experiences for the end user – this is what drew me into Front End Development in the first place! Because of this, I’ve spent some of my free time in a UI design course to learn more about design principles and applicable techniques to making a good looking web page. The course focused on things such as alignment, imagery, choosing color palettes, selecting typography effectively, and how a well thought out design process looks like.
